Trimester 1 Reflections

1. I am proud of my grade on my Algebra Exam.
2. I wish I had done better on homework. Corrections save my life!!
3. Yes it has been. Graphing is hard for me because I hate it. I also dont like mixtures!!!!
4. I feel I have mastered completing the square and factoring. :)
5. I want to get an A+ in math. I will have to do well on homework and quizzes. I also want to be better behaved. I will have to talk less in class. :)

Service Learning and Math

1. The issue we are addressing is bilingual children in school.

at $1000 at 3% you will make 1 million at 234 years old. (you will probably be dead)
at $1000 at 4% you will make 1 million at 177 years old. (still dead)
at $1000 at 5% you will make 1 million at 142 years old (still dead but not quite as dead)
at $10000 at 3% you will make 1 million at 156 years old (deader)
at $10000 at 4% you will make 1 million at 118 years old (i think the oldest person was about this age so u might be alive but probably you will have mites and worms crawling through you vacant eyeballs)
at $10000 at 5% you will make 1 million at 95 years old (you will hopefully be alive)
at $100000 at 3% you will make 1 million at 78 years old (most likely alive but not able to run very fast (like Emma and Mills and Frank) and u will probably take up knitting cause all old people do)
at $100000 at 4% you will make 1 million at 59 years old (you are hopefully alive and might be retired)
at $100000 at 5% you will make 1 million at 48 years old (you are still alive unless you get hit by a bus cause you had a fever when you were younger and now you are blind and deaf OR you just don't look both ways when you cross the street)

mcdonalds parabola

the parabola i found was one of the mcdonald's arches.
who: the people who are ad makers for mcdonalds, franchise owners, construction workers and suppliers all made this parabola possible.
what: advertisement for mcdonalds

where: im not sure. i couldnt find out where.
when: 1983
how: some workers built it
why: to get more people to come eat at mcdonalds

I think the avatar sites are pretty cool and its a good way to post a cool picture if you dont want to put a real picture of yourself. I did the avatar from the Lego site which i liked. It was cool because i could have a rainbow tshirt and a smiley on my tshirt. I LOVE TWIDUCATE! ITS SO AWESOME I AM WRITING IN ALL CAPS! but now i will stop. but i think twiducate is a good idea for schools who want to be paperless but private at the same time. cuz u need a password. and its so much simpler than twitter!!!!!! but abt what i have already posted.... let me think... i mean just bitly links (btw those are AMAZING!) and thats it! but i love that site! thats it! and yall im sorry i forgot that i can make my posts big and colorful! but i will disappoint you no longer! from no on my posts will be large and beautiful!!! :)

Google Group

I kinda dont know what a google group is but i think its our geometry class? but i really dont know what it is, so its kind hard to write about! ;) Right now im listening to Dont Stop Believing Glee version... sorry i have ADD! :D

Google Docs

Google Docs is really awesome! we have used it this year in math and hopefully other classes because we want to be paperless school! and i think its awesome how u can type and people can read as your typing. that is why its different than a word document cuz u dont have to upload and download and blah blah. i kinda forgot my algebra book at school so i kinda cant do the vocab and post a link, but i will call cat! love you cat ur my life saver for hw!!!!!!!!!! :) <3
